Farewell Anja! **
We will miss you Anja!We are all very sad today here at Meow Diaries. My BFF LadyJava, who is also a cat lover, has lost another one of her precious babies last night due to kidney failure. Anja fought hard and she was hospitalized twice last month but time was just not on her side and yesterday she said goodbye to us.
I know just how much LJ will miss her baby girl and it pains me to think of her enduring two major heartbreaks within the space of two months. Please don't cry too much LJ for we all loved Anja very much and she will always remain in our thoughts. B, Chubbs, Benji, Phoebe and I are all so very sorry and sad to see Anja leave us but we know she is in a happier place now. Plus she will also be with her beloved brother Mufasa now so do take a little comfort in that okay?
If you have not dropped by Cat Tales to say goodbye to Anja, please do so. I'm sure LJ and her remaining cats will appreciate all the love and support they can get right now, thank you.

Aww, this is so sad. I feel so bad for lady Java. Losing one is bad enough, losing two in just two months would be so awful. I know the feeling, I lost 3 in a week!

A very touching tribute. I lost my cat in November to a hip disease. He was 13 and I had been his mommy from my teenage years. It is very hard, but when the time comes, the only thing we can do is to let them go and be happy in a place where there is no pain. Thank you for sharing, I'm going to go to her blog now :)

Anja will be missed very much. I have lost a two cats and 3 dogs so i know the feeling that comes when they pass on. My heart goes out to LJ in her time of loss. :'( :'(

Yes it feel terrible when your loving cat died. Poor LJ! Believe it or not, yesterday I buried "BlackBerry" one of my rescued cats from KL. You won't believe it how he died. It was very tragic. Still feeling sad now.. I will publish a post soon on this incident, it's not accident or sickness but .. suspense.. wait for the post!

She is now laid to rest next to Mufasa at my FIL's garden.. I really hope it wont turn to a burial ground though.. each time we come over we will visit them.. good to have someplace to go and visit them...
