My first choice was white but four of the malls that B checked out did not carry the white one. The white Furby was out of stock apparently, which obviously means white is a popular furby colour. After searching high and low, B finally found my white fluffy Furby in Isetan and here he is! Isn’t he adorable?

I’ve been having lots of fun playing with my Furby and so far, he has changed personality once. Can’t wait for the next transformation and so far, everything about my Furby is super fluffy, super cute!

Fluffy Friday # 76 - Christmas with Pablo *

A special Christmas Fluffy Friday, which although is late, also marks a wonderful occasion for those celebrating Christmas, ho ho ho!

Today, it is all about little Pablo, who by the way is recovering nicely after his stint at the Cat Hospital for a little ‘snip snip’! Aside from inducing better behaviour, neutering your male cats offers a host of other good benefits including better health, prevention of unwanted litter and your cats will not roam away from home, which is also my greatest fear. I’d cry forever if one of my meows decides to run away from home to hang out with the strays outside and never come back!

So after his little snip snip session, Pablo is now home and healthy once again. His behaviour, if possible has gotten even more clingy and affectionate and everywhere Master goes, Pablo is sure to follow. He needs to be close to me at all times and I can’t count the number of times I have woken up to find fluffy Pablo hugging me; his fluffy face as close as he can get to mine!

What a wonderful addition to our family of meows, thank you B for bringing Pablo home to us that one rainy evening. And now, we too can enjoy the Christmas holiday with four fluffy adorable cats. Happy late Fluffy Friday everybody!

Fluffy Friday # 75 - Big Fat Meow! *

What? A Fluffy Friday post on a Saturday? And after a long silence too?

Well, I have to thank my friend Lil actually. She reminded me of my Fluffy Friday post by posting a FF without me LOL! I am so sorry to my fluffy friends for neglecting my cat blog lately. I will try my best to be more active here. It’s not like I don’t have a whole lot of photos and cat stories to share so the only conclusion I have for the lack of posting is sheer laziness and lack of inspiration. My bad, I know. Will you forgive me meows?

Back to Lil who’s apparently having some problem housing her many cats, I hope I am not too late to have her post featured here this week on Fluffy Friday. Please drop by and lend her some support in aiding her mission to find the best homes for her cats. I know she stated in her post that she only has a week to find them good loving owners but I’m sure she will still appreciate your love and support for her many meows by dropping by for a visit at the very least.

Meow Mags Please!

I no longer subscribe to magazines but I fondly remember the good old times when I first started subscribing to my favourite fashion magazines like Cosmo and Elle during my university days. My schedule as a student was less hectic so after a day of studying and working in uni, and I had ample time to pore over magazine after magazine when I got home. It was also very cheap to subscribe to magazines back then so the decision to jump into the magazine bandwagon was happily made with ease.

I collected quite a few titles too, which weren’t available here in Malaysia and when my boxes arrived from the States two years later when I returned home to KL, I was ecstatic to have my collection with me! It was a hefty price to bring them home with me but a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do sometimes!

Nowadays, I don’t really buy magazines anymore unless it’s one of those Hollywood entertainment magazines, which I love and a few local celebrity magazines. Other than that, I usually get my information and need to browse through a magazine, online. I love reading about Hollywood celebrities so I have quite a list of dazzling celebrity blogs, which I follow.

Recently however, I came across an awesome site offering Magazine Subscriptions at incredible discounts so once again I am enticed to start collecting magazines. I really should not because I don’t want to end up being a magazine hoarder. If you’ve seen an episode of Hoarders, you will definitely share the same sentiments as yours truly and will try to avoid compulsive shopping whenever possible!

Having said that, I figured a title or two won’t hurt especially since I discovered some really cool cat magazines online! Cat magazines don’t come by very often, perhaps due to the niche market it caters too. But for cat lovers like me, I’m certain we wouldn’t mind spending on and owning a collection of cat magazines. If not for the very useful information contained within, cat magazines almost always offer awesome cat photos too, which is mostly why I am enticed! Check out the meow-licious rates of this really cute I Love Cats magazine!

Oh, I also collect TV soap magazines and these I usually get when travelling abroad. If you don’t already know, I am an ardent fan of Bold and Beautiful and I love reading stories about the Forrester clan! This site I discovered however does not seem to offer TV Soap magazines unless I missed it while browsing through their endless categories.

With so many categories to go through and loads of great discounts to take advantage of, I’m definitely checking in with this site again later. Tonight however, I am going to be very busy preparing for the Eid Mubarak celebration tomorrow. I would like to take this post to wish all my friends celebrating this festival a wonderful Aidilfitri with your family and loved ones. Drive safely to and fro your destination, eat aplenty, be merry and Maaf Zahir Batin from Mariuca & B and our four fluffy cats!
