MM - American Idol Top 8 **

Last week on American Idol, I enjoyed several awesome performances especially those by the younger contestants showcasing their talent this year like Lauren & Scotty as well as Stefano. Of course, I'm a little worried that Stefano was once again in the bottom three despite singing his heart out so please vote for Stefano, America!!

Kelly Clarkson was a guest performer during the elimination night and she was terrific as always. I just can't wait for her to lose a few pounds and make that much-needed comeback with another great song and a smoking body to go with it! All in all, Movie Week was great and I am looking forward to this week's theme. Anyone knows what it is by the way? Happy Music Monday!

MM - American Idol Top 9 **

Last week, Jacob Lusk was in the Bottom 3 together with Phia and Stefano, yowzaa!!! Do you know who truly did NOT belong there? Jacob of course! So please vote for him this week America! It would be a damn shame if Jacob leaves the competition too soon. I am banking on him to be in the Top 3 at least, Go Jacob Go!

MM - American Idol Top 11 **

This was a first-time Country Song listen for me when performed by Lauren Alaina & Scotty McCreery of American Idol 2011 but I fell in love with the song immediately! So I'm pleased to present to you a truly romantic duet by two talented Idol contestants this year. I love the lyrics to this song too by the way. Happy listening and Happy Music Monday!

MM - American Idol Top 11 **

The best performance on last week's Motown theme American Idol goes to .. Jacob Lusk, hands down! Isn't he amazing? I love watching the judges' reaction to this soulful singer while he sang You're All I Need to Get By, originally recorded by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell. The motown theme also featured many awesome songs so last week's show was indeed a pleasure to watch!

I hope we will say goodbye to Haley and Thia this week. Honestly, they bore me and I am not getting the fascination, no offense to Haley and Thia fans.

MM - American Idol Hollywood Week **

Just like last year, this year will see me posting my American Idol Music Monday edition here at my cat blog. Have you been following the auditions? I gotta say I love having Steven Tyler on the show. Initially I thought American Idol was going to be a flop with Simon Cowell out of the picture and J. Lo and Steven Tyler as replacement. But slowly I got to like and now LOVE Steven Tyler as judge! He is a total pussy cat and a romantic one at that!

This is one of B's favourite auditions in Hollywood Week so it's his pick here this Music Monday. Georgia on my Mind performed by Casey Abrams was an audition to remember and we are both looking forward to more American Idol this week!

MM - American Idol Top 3 **

B and I are rooting for Lee Dewyze to WIN American idol Season 9. Congrats to our resident rocker for making it to the AI finale and I can't wait to see next week's showdown! Lee vs. Crystal...my fave guy going against my fave girl; what a show that will be! Good luck to both contestants especially to Lee Dewyze!

Thank you for following my American Idol journey this year here at Meow Diaries. It's a little sad that we are coming to an end of the American Idol MM session here and I hope you will enjoy Lee's performance and his emotional homecoming video. Needless to say, I got all teary!

MM - American Idol Top 4 **

B and I both really enjoyed Chris Daughtry singing his new song September on American Idol Results Show last week. We're also a little sad to see Michael Lynche leaving the show but we take comfort in the fact that he fought till the end and was consistently strong throughout his stint. Back to Chris, he sounded amazing as always and sang with such conviction that B decided to pick Chris as his favourite performance last week! Happy Music Monday!
