Picture Perfect
Sometimes, I wish I could take totally awesome clear-cut pictures like Los Angeles Photographer Rob Alexander. Born and bred in Los Angeles, Rob Alexander started his career by shooting local bands along with skateboarding friends throughout LA. He went on to shoot several legendary bands including Metallica, Kid Rock, Eminem and Limp Bizkit in the 90s and since then, has made his mark in the photography world especially in his forte of portrait, artistic images, fashion, bands and action sports.
Being a photographer sounds like a glamorous job, especially if you are good enough to receive worldwide recognition. And looking at Rob's portfolio sure makes me feel like a novice somewhat. Of course I can't compare myself to someone as skillful as he is but I do love taking photographs and his make me yearn to produce perfect pictures too. His shots are truly amazing and after viewing them, I am seriously enticed to run out to the nearest camera store to replace my trusty old one with a new huge-ass hi-tech camera that is bound to give me the perfect snapshot every time! 
But since I have an upcoming vacation in the works, I shall refrain from splurging on a new camera because I need to save for my trip. Plus, my camera still works great so instead, I will leave you with a few more samples of Rob's work. I hope you enjoy the photos and like me, you too would be inspired by his picture-perfect skills. And who knows, perhaps you may even wander off to his online store to make a purchase or two!

LOL! Yeah, i wanted a huge ass camera as well so that I can take perfect and sharp shots.. Or dreamy shots.. Just shots that would fit the theme.. But then lugging it everywhere would seem quite a hassle.. Someone might try to rob you of it.. Plus I lack in technique.. I think I should learn how to take a "good" picture first before splurging on those big ass camera.. :-P :-P :-P

i enjoy taking pics too and i'm very happy with my Nikon d90. even though it can be pretty bulky and heavy to lug around, it takes quality pics out of the box.
i'm still using the simple programming modes as i still don't know how to operate on the manual setting modes.
that's probably bcoz i'm a slow learner but i'm glad i've improved a little but still very far from perfect.
Horray for vacation! no worries Marzie, you're almost there! :) i'm itching to go on another holiday but unfortunately....lack of fund. :(
