In-flight Entertainment
We were lucky enough to experience flying on the new Singapore Airlines A380 to get to our vacation destination Tokyo. It's been years since I went on Singapore Airlines and flying on the world’s largest passenger aircraft was definitely something to shout about!
The seats were roomier and it all looked very cosy inside. Service was okay; more professional rather than personal but entertaining a flight full of passengers must not be easy so that's understandable. Our flight back to Malaysia (also on SQ) was more pleasant with friendlier, more attentive flight attendants so I think I enjoyed my flight back home better.
I did not sleep on the flight at all. Both ways saw me passing time on the 6-hour flight with the new and advanced KrisWorld in-flight entertainment system. Offering you an impressive line-up of the latest movies and TV programmes, music as well as interactive games; I spent most of my time watching my favourite comedy sitcoms and playing games.
There were plenty of games to choose from and I was definitely spoiled for choice! From mind-boggling word games to my favourite casino games, I kept myself entertained to and from my destination with games. Undoubtedly the available casino games were a little different from my favourite Online Casino Gambling games but I was still happy playing my Slot machines and a little Poker while waiting for us to reach our destination.
All in all, it was a pretty good flight; comfortable and entertaining. My only complaint however was the food served, specifically the Muslim menu; which was booked for us ahead by our travel agent. I usually love airplane food but this time around, I was extremely disappointed in the lack of creativity when it comes to Muslim food. The flight back home to Kuala Lumpur served slightly better food; but seriously it was more edible than tasty. If you're wondering what's under the lid, it's just bland briyani rice and long beans with a little tasteless beef curry - no seconds for me please!

U know, I didn even know we were flying Singapore airlines until a few days before leaving he he, so out of it that time cause busy finishing things here before vakasi. :)

Oh it was truly disappointing to the extent we all got angers with the food Debbs. Ada ke serve otak2 cold sandwich as snack, langsung TAK SEDAP! And tasteless noodles too. Lebih baik I masak sendiri he he! Oh Air Asia tak happening sgt the food, cause tak byk choices kan? But I like MAS punya menu, so interesting and tasty! :)

MAS hasn't acquired any A380s yet.. i would love to try out one.. My mom says she's too afraid to go on one.. she said it looks too heavy! LOL!

Masa I went to Bandung kan naik AA (pestaim for me) and I tried the plane food…..biasa je…takde pun nasi lemak yg best out of this world like ppl say he he! Tak byk variety to choose from but kalau dah hungers, just buy la. :)
I meant ul be gone for 10 days Debbs! And ul be gone in two days. ;)
I don mind packing la but always pack last-minute cause takut tertinggal important stuff. ;)

I actually find MAS meals quite nice, I love he he! Menu is always so interesting so that’s the first thing we’d do when we get on a MAS plane, check out the menu first LOL!!!

I didn complain la, how to complain cause mmg that was the muslim menu, cant change edi! :( The flight to Japan was terrible, I mean food wise! Cold otak2 sandwich which was almost frozen, me no likey!!!!!! :(
And u know la otak2 is our fave but the sandwich really turned us off! :(

Three of us were so angry that time, so malas edi, don wan to eat! I really expected something more from SQ, some more new airbus, the food bit was very disappointing. :(

A380 looks roomier. In flight entertainment memang syiok. I watched movies and played few games during my flight to Hong Kong.
Memang Tak tidur, sebab dok melayan in-flight entertainment. Oh! i watched Charlotte's Web in the flight la. Luckily, in flight entertainment tak dak online blogging.

Good day ...what a nice thing to see first thing in the am...I was reading all the comments and I was more surprised at how many times ai saw the word meals...on our planes you are lucky to get a small bag of cookies or peanuts. I find the offering of peanuts a bit strange as they have been labeled a dangerous food for some with serious allergic reactions to them.
Now I am really jealous:)
WE have had 2 large airlines merge and it is even worse than before...the planes are never cleaned between flights as they have cut down on their planes and staff...so that adds even more people to each flight and no time to do any cleaning.
Anyway I am happy that someone is getting something nice for their hard earned money:)
