Lost in Cannes!

I received a frantic email from B in Cannes earlier and guess what? He left his cell phone in the cab on the way to his hotel from the airport! I was online when I received his email and rushed over to call him at the hotel. My French was definitely rusty as I desperately tried communicating to the hotel reception to pass me through to B.

I finally got B on the phone and he sounded relieved to hear my voice. He's extremely upset with himself though for being so careless as to lose his only means of communication on the very day he arrived in a strange country so I had to calm him down. I assured him everything will be fine and not to worry about the phone. I also reminded him to always remain connected and in touch with his other peers who are also there to attend the MIPCOM event.

My poor darling felt terrible and sounded so miserable and I tried my best to cheer him up. Apparently, there is a casino just two blocks away from his hotel, which means he doesn't even need to take a cab to get there. So I told him to chill out, calm down and pull himself together by checking out the casino there LOL!
