Amsterdam Casinos!

I need some new games and I need them soon! So bored lately and there's absolutely nothing to hold my attention span during the night when I am in need of a little game and Online Gambling fun! Truth be told, I'm a little tired of playing casino games. After visiting the real deal on our vacation in September, online casino suddenly doesn't hold the same exciting fascination it once did!

Holland Casino, Amsterdam

Biking to the Casino

In Amsterdam, we visited two casinos in the city centre, which we both agreed were so much nicer than the two we frequented in London. Our favourite one in Amsterdam offers free food and drinks, which is a great bonus because once you get hooked on playing the slots, roulette or black jack, it is hard to pull yourself away from the intensity of gambling to grab a bite to eat.

Let's play some slots!

So whenever we got hungry after working hard at the casino tables, all we had to do was visit the refreshment area and grab ourselves some chips, sandwiches, coffee or soft drinks. Awesome!

Anyway, I did not WIN anything major at any of the casinos. For a while there, I was winning at roulette but you know how it is with gambling. Once you win a little something, the greed and need to WIN big overwhelms the rational mind and it's hard to stop while ahead. It would have been awesome if I had won something shout-worthy in the Amsterdam casino but the good news is that I did not lose either. Gambling with Euros is a little scary actually because you tend to keep on mentally converting the amount you're gambling while playing!

Stupid slots, I lost!

I did bring home this casino card pass though, which is used to "CHOP" or book your machine should you decide to take a break from playing on your slot machine. All you have to do is place your card on your machine and other patrons will understand that your machine is booked and they won't venture close. Cool card for a cool casino and if ever we return to Amsterdam for another vacation, we'd definitely re-visit this casino. And perhaps bring back so much more than just this souvenir card!

Sick Saturday **

Before I came down with a cold, I had so many plans for this weekend. I was going to accompany B to his event today, do some shopping later and unwind to a nice relaxing dinner with the folks on Sunday. All that's changed now that I'm sick.

The only other thing I can do for entertainment is of course play some PC games especially the latest playtech casino bonus games I chanced upon at Playtech Casinos. In case you don't already know, I'm a big sucker for casino games and the last time I went PC game shopping, the latest Reel Deal was not out yet. I love Reel Deal because their casino games are so real and I feel like I'm in a real casino every time I play.

Anyway, Playtech Casinos is just as awesome and this site has been around since 2001. Aiming to provide the latest and best information on all Playtech products, this site offers visitors tips and articles on choosing the right casinos as well as a comprehensive guide on my favourite game - the slots!

The best part is the hundreds of games available here; all waiting for me to give them a try! New games are added on a monthly basis too so players can enjoy fresh exciting thrills every casino visit. It sure sounds great and hey, I may be sick but I am also feeling lucky today. And if this fever doesn't go away soon, I might just end up spending my entire weekend in front of the slots!

I hope you're enjoying your weekend and if you have not joined my Guessing Game, there's still time to WIN a FOC ad space here at Meow Diaries, have fun!

Casino Fun Online and Offline!

Lately, Singapore Resorts World Sentosa Casino has been calling out to me from across the miles! When exactly B and I will get there is an entirely different question but this recently-opened casino is currently uppermost on our list. Anything casino-related perks my interest and if this means having to hop over to a neighbouring country in order to enjoy some casino fun, I don't mind making that trip. Plus, Singapore is right next door and it will take us less than an hour to get there by plane so it's all good.

I'm definitely excited and I've been busy checking out hotel packages online. I also plan to brush up on my gaming skills before the trip. Just because I usually head straight for the slot machines upon entry, it does not mean I don't like to try my luck at other fun games like Roulette or Poker!

I guess Casino People came into the picture at the right time then. It's a fairly new site but it's also managed by pros who know what they're talking about when it comes to gaming and casino playing. Looks like a great place for me to start brushing up my gaming skills.

Aside from comprehensive and objective reviews to help players decide on the best online casino hangouts, this informative site is also packed with a whole lot of fun! Find out the best tips and rules for the most popular online games and lists of casino tournaments while having fun with other players on the casino forum and message board. Discuss your tactics and tips with other players before heading into your chosen casino for some fun. Good luck!

I Passed 8th Grade Math!

When I saw this 8th Grade Math Quiz at Blogthings, I immediately took it as a challenge. Believe it or not, I was a little nervous taking this test for I am definitely not fond of Math. In school, Math was my least favourite subject and I found myself struggling to get through each class. And though I excelled in other subjects, Math was definitely not my forte! One glance at the Blogthings Math test gave me the shivers and I actually feared flunking 8th Grade Math by choosing the wrong Math answers. How sad would that be?

And then I remembered all the smart contestants on the TV show Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader and how they too sometimes fail to answer simpler 2nd Grade or 3rd Grade Math questions, which gave me a little comfort and confidence to take the Math test. I did all the questions in my head without any Algebra homework help or Math homework help; all the while anticipating at least three questions to be wrong!

Imagine my joy when I got an A+ on the 8th Grade Math Test with 10/10 correct! Frankly, I thought I was going to fail this test but I guess my Math isn't so bad after all. Dare to take the quiz? Get the link in my comment box, good luck!

I was a little sad when the game was coming to an end until a Twitter friend asked me if I've tried Farm Frenzy 3 Ice Age, which of course got me enticed!

I just checked out the game online and apparently I have NOT played this one. I can't believe I didn't know about this game sooner and I can't wait to start playing it tonight! Thanks to my Twitter friend who suggested this game to me and based on the pictures I saw online, I have a feeling I'm going to get hooked on this one as well! Are You a Leopard Like Me? ***

Time for another Blogthings quiz to keep you entertained here at Meow Diaries. I am having an emotional weekend so to keep myself distracted, I took this quiz and apparently I'm a Leopard Print, which is funny cause I don't like or own anything leopard print!

You Are a Leopard Print

You are vain, but you also have a lot to be vain for. You are definitely a stunning creature. You have a keen sense of observation, and you like to watch and learn before you act. - Always better to know what you're getting into before it's too late. You are highly sensitive, and it's easy for you to be affected by the world around you. - The slightest things can move me to tears sometimes. Deep down, you need to be taken care of, even though you may not admit it. You need love as much as anyone else does. - Show me some love!

No Laptop!

OMG what a depressing Saturday! I woke up early today, at 11 am and the first thing I did was check my Pinky for new emails. How quickly morning blurriness turned into a nasty shock when I discovered that I couldn't switch on my laptop at all! The adapter light is showing but somehow the power is not reaching my laptop (my battery is already dead by the way) so without power, it won't run on the battery.

I cried and cried thinking about all the files and important information stuck inside my laptop, not to mention the hassle I'd have to endure in order to resolve this issue. My clients' emails are stuck inside my Outlook and I don't even know if I can retrieve them so right now, I am totally depressed.

B is trying his best to console me but nothing seems to work. I can't even play my casino games, which I usually turn to when in need of de-stress. They're all installed inside my laptop. What's more, I had just bookmarked a new Full Tilt Poker Bonus site as recommended by a friend and was all set to enjoy some Poker Play tonight. Looks like I have to scratch that plan now right?

By the way, the site is an awesome Poker centre complete with Poker Room Reviews, Poker Tools, Poker Forums, Poker News and more. It's a great site for Poker players and fans to hang out for some poker fun especially with the Full Tilt Poker Referral Code, which allows players to enjoy a 100% bonus up to $600 by matching any amount on your first deposit. So don't forget to use the Full Tilt Poker referral code when you register okay?

Right now, I am using B's MacBook to write this post. I'll be taking my Pinky to the IT store later to get a full diagnosis on her condition and get to the bottom of things.  Worst-case scenario I'd have to fork up some cash and buy a brand new laptop!
