Missing Mail

A drawback to condo-living is that you have to share certain facilities otherwise included with landed homes. You might not have
your own garden for instance, but you're offered the convenience of a common garden or playground to contend with. There is also no pretty picket fence or gate protecting your home sweet home unless you count the guarded entry to your condo.

The one I am most concerned about is the lack of an ecco wall mount mailbox right outside my door. I know it's not practical for condo-living but it is still nice to imagine living in one that does provide the luxury of having your own ecco e4 mailbox right outside; perhaps in a low-rise posh duplex! rindu

Anyway, with a big number of residents living in the same block, we are stuck with sharing the same mail-room to collect our mail from our respective ecco mailboxes. With so many
ecco e6 mailboxes in one location, each ecco mailbox bearing similar but different numbers, the mailman can't help getting confused and more than once, I've lost a mail or two. Smileys

The mix-ups don't happen often and I don't mind if it's trivial correspondence but sometimes it could involve more important matters like my recent credit card mail. Apparently the registered mail slip (needed in order to retrieve my mail) was mistakenly inserted into a neighbour's ecco e8 mailbox. By the time it was returned into my ecco e7 mailbox and I called the post-office, the registered mail was already sent back to my bank. I am now burdened with the additional woe of having to call up the bank requesting for a resend, which I'd probably have to bear the cost too! Smileys

Like I mentioned earlier, it doesn't happen often but when the mix-up occurs, there's really not much I can do but vent my frustration here! Thanks for listening peeps and have a good day.
