Translator at Work
You already know I work from home. Now let me tell you what it is that I actually do inside my home-office daily, rain or shine, night or day... 
As a freelance copywriter, my work mainly consists of writing copies for clients. Copies can come in many forms be it a newsletter, a print ad, a brochure and so on. That is my main job. Aside from that the other thing I do almost daily is translate documents from English to Malay or vice versa. Translation forms a pretty huge chunk of my workload and the jobs appear inside my Inbox more often compared to copywriting and editing.

So depending on my workload, working from home at my own pace and time can be extremely fun especially when there's not much for me to do. That's when I get to kick back and spend more time blogging or laze around dropping EC.

Otherwise, you'll find me immerse for days on end in a new translation job that sometimes gets me thinking hard; finding the perfect word...

Most days however will find me pretty much content to be where I am right now; being my own boss and working from home on my copywriting and translation jobs. Coffee is always in abundance and my fluffy cats give me the inspiration I need to churn out copy after copy so what more could I ask for?

Speaking of work, I recently registered with Translia, which is an innovative translation service. Offering translators like me a unique new platform to collaborate with other translators and deliver translations in a speedy efficient manner, this program is a must-see for all translators!
I've already registered (FREE) with them a few months back but I've been too occupied with my own clients so I have not checked in with them for quite some time. Plus, I forgot my password! Anyway, they recently sent me an email saying work is aplenty so maybe I'll look into this site again. You can never earn too much for freelancers like me so any money-making opportunity is always welcomed. Will I see you there?

Thanks for visiting and commenting on little Elisabet's cat-bite-wound. She's fine. The swelling has gone down. But I am not sure that she has learnt her lesson; she is still making life difficult for Calle Cat by wanting to pick him up as if he were a rag-doll. (There ie a breed of cats called "ragdoll" that may put up with that kind of treatment, but Calle is definitely not one of them!")
It was nice to see you; to see what you look like! You lookvery nice.
I am not surprised to learn that you work as a copy-writer and do a lot of translation. Your texts are always well-written and interesting.

Regarding Entrecard, (Suddenly all "DROPPERS" are on the defensive) if I could have found a way to leave this comment on "Cornyman" Martin's blog I would have... his page just lies there... I left it loading from 9pm to 9:30 and the comment box still wouldn't open up!
Martin, I go online via dialup and use one of those "power" internet accelerators that is "all cache, all the time" - I've cleared out and renewed about 50 of the blogs I regularly visit, but it is a tedious process itself, moreso than dropping, with some sites at 28.8 taking almost 15 minutes to load! (and CornyManMartin's STILL LOADING at 33 minutes!)
@LAINY: I often leave comments or say hello via tagboard or C-Box when a blog has those features, as they seem to refresh when the templates load. I agree with you - it's a great way to not only show you've beenthere, but contribute to another's blog!

Hello Marzie, you ni comel lah! Good for you kerja sendiri and becoming your old boss. In fact , that is my dream - to be my own boss, hopefully one day it will work on me too, whether in Marang or in KL, to get more students to teach (tuition), to do my MLM etc and become successful. At the moment still take boleh hidup if I depend on all these since I am not in KL, there I think i can do wonders.
I am so glad you have achieved this far, seriously working on your own and becoming your own boss and it really harvest quite a steady income I think, good for you and for this "Congratulations" .
