Keeping Safe

Ever since our friend G had his car stolen on Valentine's Day two years ago, he's been overly concerned with security. He blames his stolen car on sheer bad luck and reminisces about his stolen baby whenever we start talking about car-related issues. And though he's pretty much accepted the fact that his car is forever gone, I think he regrets not taking certain precautions that could have helped trace his stolen car like installing a GPS Tracking System.

So what does a GPS Tracking device actually do? Well, GPS Tracking provides vital information needed to ascertain your location when driving, where you're heading and it also takes into account the approximate time of your arrival.

For parents with driving teenagers at home, this is actually a wonderful safety device you can use to help you keep tabs on your kids. I don't mean that in a negative way of course for I don't see it as spying on your kids. In fact, I think GPS Tracking is an excellent way to help keep your children safe.

We often hear unfortunate stories about tragic accidents involving less-experienced teenage drivers. Having a GPS Tracking device installed in your car could help keep your children safe whilst giving you the peace of mind knowing your children's whereabouts when they're away from home. By monitoring their driving speed, location and time duration of travel, you as a parent will be able to exert more control and guidance on your kids while they're on the road even though you are not physically with them inside the car.

I for one think GPS Tracking is an excellent feature every car should have. And it's definitely one of the requirements I'm going to impose on B should he ever decide to switch to a new car. Thanks for reading and Happy Friday!

No Rug for Us!

When I finally get my own kitty room like Smokey, I want a nice huge mat for my brothers and me to play on. We can never get enough of scratch mats and the more we have around at home, the less likely we'll scratch on Master's rug. She only has one by the way but we love this rug and we scratch it whenever we're inside her room. Maybe that's why we've been locked out of her room these last few days.

I think Master is looking into buying a new rug and she's keeping it very hush hush. Little did she know that I was hiding behind her laptop while she was designing her new rug and I saw everything! She was quietly working on and designing her new rug with the online rug builder she found at Rug Couture!

It seems you can now design your own rug online and Master has her eyes on a really cute paw-print rug from Rug Couture. There are over 1,000 colours to play around with and you can choose from hundreds of designs like funky contemporary or truly outrageous but Master really seemed to like the paw-print rug. All custom rugs from Rug Couture are made from New Zealand Wool by the way.

At first, I thought the paw-print rug was for us cats but later I overheard Master telling B that she is afraid we'd mess up her new rug too so she plans to put it inside the guest-room, which we're NEVER allowed in! Sneaky Master!

Fluffy Friday # 22 - Catch Me if You Can! **

Phoebe is the quickest of my cats. Whenever she hears me opening the kitty condo doors to shoo them inside for the night, she'll immediately squeal and run away to hide. Her favourite hiding spot? Underneath my dining table because she knows it is difficult for me to reach for her there. And I almost always end up chasing her around and around the table like a Mad Master!

LMAO!

I am no Broadway Buff but if I ever get the chance to visit New York one fine day, I'd surely include LMAO Off-Broadway on my agenda. Simply because I fancy myself as being adventurous (not in a rock-climbing backpacking kind of way though!) when it comes to trying out new attractions that seem to be a hit with the locals like Broadway comedy!

LMAO Broadway is an off-broadway's newest musical comedy extravaganza! I do like anything extravaganza and watching a Broadway comedy is something I've never tried so I am game for some laughs. Ranging from American Idol and Glee to Tiger Woods and Charlie Sheen, topics are changed daily and YOU as part of the audience will decide on the topics for every scene. The cast will then perform their comedy songs and sketches based on your choice, pretty cool right? The show is currently running at Midtown Theatre in Times Square, which has also been renovated for extra comfort and glam to accommodate its 200-capacity.

Forgive me meows for I am late! But if you knew what type of schedule I was juggling this month, you'd definitely forgive me and you might even leave my cats some kitty treat for being so patient while I was busy working. Going Fishing?

Have you ever gone fishing? And I don't mean one of those indoor fishing outlets where you sit with a snack in hand and pretend to be on a real fishing boat awaiting your first bite.
