Torrent Time

Anyone out there looking for a new fast torrent download site? I just discovered one called Fenopy.com and apparently it is one of the largest online, with over 4 million torrents!

The usual categories of Books, Movies, TV, Games and Music are available and my first stop was TV of course where I looked up my favourite Bold and Beautiful. I typed in Bold and Beautiful 2010 and the torrents dated back to January this year, which is great because believe it or not, I have been missing almost an entire year of B&B!

It sucks missing out on my fave TV program (B&B is no longer showing here) and I feel bad about not keeping abreast with the Forresters. I wonder what in God's name is going on right now and I don't like reading the story episodes online so I resort to torrents for my B&B addiction. Hopefully my Internet won't act up tonight and I can start storing my B&B episodes again.

Of course I checked out the game category as well and what do you know? Big Fish games are available too! So yes, this was an excellent find indeed and if you don't hear a peek from me these next few days, that just means I'm busy with my torrents okay?

Tweeting on the Go!

Thanks to my new phone, I can finally tweet on the go!

I've been having a great time playing with my new phone, which is also a gift from B. What I love most about the G8 is that it serves my needs for Wi-Fi access and dual-SIM (one line for business and the other for pleasure) in a compact handy device. And since I have a wireless router in my office, I can also enjoy internet access on my phone from any room in the house so that's another plus point!

Speaking of wireless routers, it took some time for me to configure and pair my new phone with the router. That's because I forgot my password and spent almost an hour retrieving it. After two tries, I successfully connected my phone to my wireless router and now I can happily tweet or check my email or say hello to my Facebook friends using my phone. So that's a really cool feature for me and YAY for wireless routers!

I have yet to try using the Wi-Fi feature outside of my home though. The last time I went to a Wi-Fi cafe for dinner, I was anticipating a fun dinner while surfing online on my G8. Unfortunately, the cafe chose that particular day to have a system error so there was no Wi-Fi access. I can't wait to try out my spanking new G8 from the next Wi-Fi Hotspot we choose but until then; I'll continue tweeting on the go from my home sweet home. See you on Twitter!

My 100th Post!

This is my 100th post and I can't believe how quickly it took me to reach the big 100! Meow Diaries came about back in April and since then; this third blog of mine has captured the hearts of many new friends. Naturally I am pleased to receive such good response and I take much joy and pride seeing this cat blog develop into a fun-filled playground not just for my cats but for Master and her friends too. It's really great to know I have your support and love and frankly, I owe this modest success to B.

B was the one who pushed me to open this third blog. I was skeptical and not 100% confident in my ability to manage three blogs but he had the utmost faith in me and even helped name this adorable blog Meow Diaries so thanks love! I love my blog name and I was ecstatic when this name was available when I bought my domain name. I'm still using free web hosting but I wanted Meow Diaries to enjoy the same attention as my other two blogs with her own domain name as well, which is a step above from when I opened my first blog under blogspot.

Speaking of domain names, are you thinking of getting one as well? What's good about having your own domain name is the undeniable sense of ownership you will feel knowing your blog truly belongs to you and no one else. A more professional appearance will also be accorded to you with your own domain name. Plus you can finally have a "real" email address. For instance, my email address for my main blog is mariuca@mymariuca.com. Doesn't that sound and look cooler than mariuca@yahoo.com?

September Top 10 EC Meows **

The past week was pure torture in terms of EC dropping. I'm not sure if it's my ISP Screamyx acting up again or it's just EC that's having some sort of problem but either way, I found myself having to refresh all EC blogs over and over again before I can finally view the widget. Even then after I drop my card it won't say Thanks and the lower part of the widget will turn grey and empty inside. I'd then have to refresh the blog again (after the first five times!) and drop once more before my drop is finally counted!

It's really annoying and I end up frustrated and upset for not being able to drop 900 cards for my three blogs. So I apologize to my usual droppers if you have not seen my cards in your Inbox the last week. I hope to drop 900 today but so far it's still slow motion Screamyx for me today, so we'll see!
I also want to thank my Top 10 Droppers in September for their relentless support for Meow Diaries and I do hope everybody enjoyed your stay here last month. Will I see you back here in October? meow!

I Dream of Luxury Yacht

The clock showed 9.33pm and though it was early, I was already raging mad with my ISP Screamyx. Two nights in a row, I was rudely disconnected for no apparent reason. I waited till 4am for my connection to return but my wait was futile and the anger inside failed to subside!

Filled with evil thoughts of what I'd like to do to Screamyx, I turned in "earlier than usual" and when I woke up, I pleasantly found myself in a beautiful suite on one of those luxurious Miami Beach yacht charters!

My bed was so plush and huge that I just wanted to fall back into bed but B reminded me of our dinner reservation.

I freshened up in the beautiful bathroom and couldn't wait to enjoy a nice long bath here after dinner.

It was late evening and the beautiful sunset that greeted me out on the deck made me forget my Screamyx worries. B was by my side as we strolled hand in hand towards a romantic cozy dinner.

I questioned our whereabouts to B and apparently we were on a fantastic cruise somewhere in the tropical islands of beautiful Miami. I had butterflies in my stomach walking on the deck for I'm afraid of the water. But the scenic surroundings kept my mind at ease. It was one of the most romantic moments for B and me; sailing to an exotic island on a beautiful luxury yacht.

After our scrumptious meal, we headed for some drinks by the Jacuzzi. B told me to go ahead and meet him there so I made myself comfortable on the deck chair and waited for him. I was so full after the dinner that I fell asleep and when I woke up...

... I was inside my own room once again and B was next to me fast asleep! We were not on a luxury yacht vacationing in Miami, there was no Jacuzzi or beautiful bathroom and the sunset was replaced with morning sunlight. It had all been a dream; a pretty real and wonderful one if you ask me!
